I guessed that this Richard Harrison was from Charles County Maryland. I had his birth date at about 1726 but it could be later as you suggest. I thought his siblings were Joseph, Mary, Elizabeth and Thomas. I am pretty sure that he had a brother Thomas mentioned with him in some reccord which I can't find now.
I thought his wife was elizabeth Smallwood (b, unknown) and his parents were Richard (31 Jan 1689/90) and Esther or Hester Smallwood (b Abt 1706) I don't have any great proof of this.

I also believe that the next generation was Richard Harrison (b 12 Oct 1659) and Jane Delehay (b 1 Jun 1662)

I think there were 2 Smallwoods in the family. I don't know of any Elizabeth Dent. You may be right about her as the wife. The birth dates I have match those of the website you pointed me too).
I know everyone has these stories- but Eleanor Harrison said she was related to William Harrison - a cousin once removed she said. I appreciate the your assistance on this.
