So, your research leads you to believe that Caroline is definately a Harris. Hmmm, ... there are two kinds of records submitted in the LDS records: those that are submitted by relatives and those that are submitted by what I call "objective" LDS members who merely read the microfilmed county records and record what they read. My impression is that the marriage record of William M. East and Carrie A. Wright that I cited in my post was submitted by the latter LDS members, not a relative, although my impression may be incorrect. If it was my family line, I'd order a copy of Caroline East's death certificate to see what, if any, maiden name the informant at the time listed on the certificate. I've got kin who were posting that a gggmother's maiden name was Kelly. I finally came across a death certificate for one of her son's, in which the son's mother's maiden name was listed as Heiffner. I didn't follow Daniel and Rosanna Wright into the 1900/1910/1920's in my previous post, but will do so now: 1900 census, Berwick Borough, Columbia Co., Penn.
