Check Cumberland, England, for Harrington's of Harrington Hall Cumberland England.Harrington's take their name from Baron Harington, Osulph or Aculf of Flimby.Notes from "Cumberland Families and Heraldry" say his descendant Sir Robert de Harington (d. 1297 marr. the heiress of Cansfield family and was father of Sir John Harington 1st Lord Harington 1281-1347 whose son Sir Robert d. in or before 1334 marr. 1327 Elizabeth Multon of Egremont, dau. of Thomas de Multon and sister of John Lord Multon of Egremont.
