Among the early settlers on Big Rock Creek, (Rowan (1) Burke (2) Yancey (3) Mitchell (4) counties N.C. , were Garlands, Streets, Griffith, Miller, Ingram and Herrall, Harrill, Harrell etc. I am interested in where this group of settlers came from..Anyone having information please let me know. I am trying to connect one HUGH HERRELL etc. to eastern N.C. or Northern VA. I am leaning toward northern, Va. but need some leads to somewhere..G. Lee Hearl glh@naxs.com Abingdon, Va...
