Hi,
My name is Jack Mills Harrill, Jr.I would like to know where I came from.I know that is a large question. As a boy, I was always told that my family had always lived in Rutherford County, North Carolina. As I begin to get into the history of the family, I find out that there are a lot of us.
I was in England a few years ago on business.I wanted to find any information on the family in the worst kind of way.I visited "somewhere" in London for about an hour and didn't find anything that looked like my surname. Then I had to go back to work.Unfortunately, I only found that if you knew where the family had come from, you could get information from the churches in that area.Someone in the library told me that.Maybe they were just trying to get rid of the American.
I think I will email you if that's ok.Perhaps you can teach me something about our family. Thanks, Jack
I did manage to get a coat of arms that had been granted to a Harrill before the College of Arms burned down (16th century). At least that was the information that came with the arms.
