I am, also, a direct descendent of Rev. John Harries. Pheobe, his widow, returned to Bristol. She took some of the children with her. I show 9 children, in all, but suspect that there may be more3. Their youngest daughter, Sarah Margaret Harries, married my great great grandfather, Joseph Harper, 11 April, 1839 in Glouchestershire. The Harper family remained in Emgland until the late 1800s when they immigrated to Ontario. I, too, am looking for more info on the Harries line. From what I have found, John Harries (Harris) was born in Pembroke, Wales about 1759. He married Pheobe Cullis October 23, 1784 in Pembroke and died in St John's, Newfoundland 22 January, 1810.
