Leona's husband was Lit Harrell, according to the Cass Co Texas birth record of their son Sufauh (b 18 May 1837). Lit (Littleton) Harrell was in Caddo Parish LA when he registered for the WWI draft: Lit Harrell born March 24th, 1888 in Monterey, Texas; single caucasian farmer in the town of Vivian, Louisiana (card #28, 5 Jun 1917). He was enumerated in Caddo Parish in 1920, Ward 2, #32, with his father Robert H. Harrell, 60, and younger siblings: Littleton Harrell 22, father b LA, mother b AL (his father's current wife, Blanche, was b TX). Robert was there as early as 1860, in the household of his father James Harrell at Shreveport.

You can find Leona Strickland and her family in Caddo Parish in 1930. Most likely this is where she married Littleton Harrell.

As far as I have been able to figure out, these Harrells are not part of my husband's line. You may want to check your cousin's post at

Good luck!
