I have a Jacob Harrell born in Campbell County, Virginia about 1765, married in 1783 to Mary Martha Jennings (d/o John & Rachel Jennings), all of their children were born in Caldwell County, KY between 1784 -1799, and they are:
William (died in the Battle of New Orleans)
Elizageth (Mrs. John Norris)
James H. (Jane H. Rush)
Martha Patsy (Thomas Franklin)
Rebecca (Thomas L. Ritch)
Rueben (Rachel Wolf, Phoebe Jennings Bridges)

I decend from Rueben and Rachel Wolf Harrell thru their son James Logan Harrell, born 13 Aug 1824 in KY, married Lucinda Beaman; thru their son Alexander Hamilton Herrell, born 27 Nov 1850 in Butler, Bates County, MO; married Mary Nancy Graves; thru their daughter Della Frances Herrell, born12 Jul 1886 Butler, MO; married Luther Clay Everett; thru their son Robert Luther Harrell Everett (my father).
Please do any of these names or states ring any bells? I am trying to find out who Jacob's father was if indead it was John "Happy Creek" Harrell.
