You sure hit the nail on the head!My family records list Eugenia as Mary's middle name; however, she signed her name as Mary V. Griffin on the Texas Confederate Pension application.By the way, her documentation is quite interesting.Her brother's name was Frank.I've heard it stated that it was short for Benjamin Franklin Harrell.Frank owned a bank in Macon as late as the 1920's.He built a rock house that he called Rockelo.Have you run across any of this?I have pictures of Mary Harrell as well as one of Frank, his wife, and their house.Any info appreciated.
