I don't know if this has anything to do with your Samuel and Sarah, but there was a Samuel Harrell in Pitt/Edgecombe NC who married a Sarah Vickers. They moved down into SC by 1793.See 20 Sep 1793 Edgecombe Co NC DB 7-285
SAMUEL HARREL and wife SARAHof Sint Johns Parish South Carolina to David Bullock of Edgecombe 20 Sep 1793, for 50 lbs NC money, 260 acres on the south side of Autreys Creek.Wit: P. Bracewell, Zadoc Bracewell
[Autrey¹s (Otter¹s) Creek was very near Pitt Co NC; it crossed the Pitt/Edgecombe border just west of the Tar River. This may be the property (294 acres) Samuel Harrell bought in 1759 from Faircloth, part of a grant to Mary Haywood, on Birkett¹s Swamp and the Bath Road.Samuel¹s wife was Sarah Vickers, daughter of George Vickers (d bef 1786) of Edgecombe Co NC.She was a sister of Uriah Vickers (d bef March 1798) and Selany Edwards. The lands of George Vickers, dec¹d adjoined Charles Lee on the south side of Autrey¹s Creek in 1786.Charles Lee received a grant on the north side of Autrey¹s Creek, adjoining the Watery Branch, in 1783 and sold this to Hardy Thorn in 1786.Amos and Randal Johnston were in the same area, as were John and Richard Webb and John Permenter.]
