This John Harrel interests me very much!
Does anyone have any information which might indicate where this John Harrel came from?
Enoch is a name which I have found twice in the Harrells, Herrells etc. of Burke, Yancey, Mitchell co. NC..
If John was born in 1760, he would very likely have been born in VA or NC.
There were some Harrells who moved from Wythe co., Va. to Hawkins co. TN about 1800 One of these, John Harrell, returned to Wythe or Montgomery co. and married there..
So this family may have a connection to the Wythe co., Va. Harrells.. Can anyone give any information in that respect..
Thanks.....
