My great great grandfather was from Ireland, it appears he may have been a Patrick Harrarin, although there was no migration and the descendants are still in Ireland. I did some research as i had read there were only 9 family's in Ireland, and they were all in the same county here. I checked this in old tithe deed books and it appears to be an accurate ascersion(sp). Maybe it is possible they were related, even brother and sister.Am unable to put my hand on the records right now, but would be early 1800s, roughly.Would love to know more, as it doesn't seem to be very common name, just meeting with dead ends.
