I am researching the Harrah families of Jefferson and Harrison Counties of Ohio, most probably descendants of James G. (Gilcrest/Gilchrist?) Harrah. According to the 1820 census, James G. Harrah had 6 sons and 4 daughters. Four likely candidates as sons of James G. are Charles, John, Adam, and William. I would be interested in sharing information with anyone working on these families. I am trying to initiate a DNA project to help connect these lines under the existing O'Hara project at FamilyTree DNA.
Anyone willing to help out in this endeavor?
