Hi, Harrah fans.
I am Janet Harrah, we live in OKC. My Husband is Casey Harrah, a direct descendent of Frank Harrah. Frank Harrah is his great - grandfather. Frank Harrah and William Harrah were brothers. Frank stayed at "Sweeney's Switch", now Harrah Oklahoma, while William "Bill" went on to Reno.
Frank's Grandson's are still living. My father-in-law William Frank Harrah, who lives in Austin, Tx., and Tom Harrah, who lives in Oklahoma City. They are healthy, but up there in age.
Frank Harrah was the first postmaster in Oklahoma - my mother-in-law has the document. We also have many other historical documents from the past.
Our family name on this side is dwendling. Only one boy child between two families to carry on the name for Frank.
Please contact us with any other information - I only found this because of my daughters school project. We are very interested.
