I found a Marriage Record for Robert and Margaret which lists the parents so that provides more information for the Johnston family.
Robert Johnston, 29, Bentinck, Grey Co., Farmer, son of Edwin Johnston and Jane Shea, married Maggie Henderson, 21, Normanby, Grey Co., daughter of George Henderson and Ellen Fullerton, on 14 November 1900 at Normanby. Witnesses: Lena Johnston, Bentinck, and John Henderson, Normanby.
