HARO IN BRAZIL
Posted by: Alexandre Date: February 14, 2002 at 16:23:06

Hi! My great-grandmother was Teresa Valderrama Haro. She and her family were from Almunecar, a tiny Spanish city near Granada by the Mediterrean Sea.
Teresa, her husband Jose Valderrama Ribas and 5 children came to Brazil (Sao Paulo state) in 1905. The Haro surname was forgotten by the time in the family, which now has only Valderrama as surname, but I've been researching about the HARO family and I would like some informations..

P.S Is that true that HARO is a jewish name...
