Sir I have been searching for more years than I want to admit. But due to my ingnorance of the German language did not know the Magdalin HARNISSIN that m. John Kibler 21 Feb 1775 Shenandoah Co. VA the in on the end of name was for female.
Would you happen to know her full name? My Johannes John Giebeler/Kibler/Gibler was born in Germany and in America by 1750. He died intestate 1790 and inventory and sales were Jan 1791 Shenandoah Co. VA His wife's maiden name has never been documented
Do you know about Magdalin if she stayed VA etc. The will inventory of widow says Catherine and when she signed saying daughter over 21 said daughter of "Kitty" It is possible there is no connection to my John at all. But by telling you by 1806 wife & children were leaving for Ohio.

I know this is a wild chase. But keep in mind I did keep looking for Harnissin and could not find a forum for that name. Thank you Charlotte
