From the Caldwell (Kansas) Commercial, Thursday, June 29, 1882, page 3:
WISNER - HARNESS: In this city, on Saturday, June 24th, 1882, E. H. Wisner, of Barbour county, Kansas, and Miss Annie A. Harness, of this city.
So Wisner couldn't find a set of single harness in all Barbour county and had to come over to Caldwell to get one. We hope he will find the collar, tugs, belly and back bands all right, with good substantial breeching that will not give way in pulling the load of matrimony up the hill of life.
