Jacob Harman (c1785-1824) & wife Mary Shelley of Whitley County, Kentucky
Has anyone done a Y-DNA test for the Jacob Harman family? He may be related to Valentine Harman who was his neighbor for awhile in Whitley County, Kentucky. He may be part of the New River, Montgomery County, Virginia Harman Family.Years ago I speculated and posted that he and Valentine Harman (1766-1845) were sons of Peter Harmon of New River, but it was only speculation. If we have a Y-DNA test it will help us see if he belongs to that family.
Does anyone know Jacob's origin?
