Lewis Harmon (b. 24 Mar 1769), Henry Harmon (b. 28 Dec 1773) and John T. Harmon (b. c1789) are sons of Jacob and Maria Margaret (Troxell) Harmon. These are three of the other six Harmons listed besides your Gideon on the 1812 tax list for Bedford County, Tennessee.Jacob Harmon died in 1792 in Botetourt County, Virginia and in 1823 there was a division of his Kentucky land found in the court records of Bedford County, Tennessee. All of his children were named.
They are not related to Stephen Harmon, son of Jenny Gibson Harmon.
Stephen Harmon (son of Jenny Gibson Harmon) was born on 18 Apr 1779 and had a son Jonathan Taylor Harmon who was born on 5 Aug 1803 in Kentucky. He was named after Stephen's uncle Jonathan Taylor. This Jonathan is too young to be taxed at Bedford County in 1812. I know of know other Jonathan Harmon in this Harmon family.
I am not sure who the other Harmons are that are listed in 1812; Jonathan, a second Lewis and Isaiah Harmon.I can not connect them to Stephen Harmon's family (or back to his grandfather Jacob Harmon's family of New River, Virginia and Kentucky).
It is still not clear who was married to Jenny Gibson Harmon. If was either William Harmon or Israel Harmon.
There are only three known children of Jenny Gibson Harmon; Stephen Harmon (b. 18 Apr 1779), Samuel Harmon and Sarah Harmon.
