Our line is not from Indiana. It is from Virginia.I have not seen the complete ancestry.com DNA report but from email exchanges I understand it does not give the haplogroup or group number.Instead, you get a printout of other people at ancestry.com who've taken the test and are a genetic match.Ancestry claims its test is much more accurate and that you need not be a Harmon male to take it. The test cost is $99 for members.
I assume your group has not tested through the Harmon DNA project (whose administrator is Cathy Harmon). They seem to have tested quite a few Harmons already.I wish we knew the group number so as to compare to the people already tested through the Harmon DNA project.
