Lat Harmon, Chillicothe, Ohio, married by 1920 to Isabel Thompson, b. 1899
Hello,I have gotten some new details on a family mystery - the birth parents of my grandfather. The paternal side seems to have been found. Now I'm looking for his mother's side - Isabel Thompson, b. 1899, NY.She, her husband Lat Harmon, and her parents, were all living in Chillicothe, Ohio, at the 1930 census. The known children are Richard O Harmon(Oliver for his maternal grandfather?), and Doris M., born about 1921 and 1925 respectively. My grandfather, bornArthur, 11-1917, in Chillicothe, was adopted at age 1, by a very nice childless couple. His birth mother, Isabel, was said to working as a clerk in a law office at that time, in Columbus. Does anyone know what became of these Harmons? And, what is "Lat" short for?
