Daniel B. Harmon spent most of his adult life in Sterling, Whiteside, IL; he was a Civil War veteran and had thirteen children by two wives--one by Frances B. Miller (div.) and twelve by Nancy Ann ("Anna") O'Kane, including: John Edwin Harmon, Grace Harmon, Fred Mansfield Harmon, Anna Belle Harmon [Schick], Hattie May Harmon, Daniel B. Harmon Jr., Jessie J. Harmon [Scott], Renee Harmon, Effie Blanche Harmon [Hague], Vada May Harmon, Frank Leroy Harmon, and Paul Harmon.
I am searching for information on his parents. I do not know who they were but on one census Daniel gives their birth places as "PA". Please respond or e-mail if you can help.
I have considerable additional information and many documents about this person and I am willing to share.
