Contemporary info from many different claims of knowledge of the Hermann/Harman/Harmon folks who mostly migrated from the Wurtemburg Prussia/Germany area of Alsaice puts Johan Michael Hermann b.1670 and his wife Kunda Regis b.1675 at Philidelphia in 1726. He is considered one of the 7 storied Hermann brothers to come to the Kings Colonies in the early 18th Century.Cutliff Harman I always remembered him as being a son of George Harman and Mary Wiley of Rowan Co. N.C. Some interesting reading is to be found at,now please "Google" Wilderness Road Regional Museum, click Biographies,Dr. Woods furnishes a Bio. of these Brothers at the Harman Pages. Start at page 15. my own GGGGGGGrand Parents Jakob and Anna Catherina "Pauschen" Hermann came aboard the Brignatine Richard and Elizabeth by way of a Port in the Netherlands in 1733 to Philadelphia. They ended their lives in Rockingham Va.They had a large family . My GGGGrand Father Isaac Harman was one of the settlers of Adair County Kentucky eventually living in what is now Taylor County in Kentucky. Regards John C. Harmon
