Thanks Tom, I knew you would know the answer to that. I have changed my records to reflect your information.
I will see what else I can learn about Thomas Adams. Zack Luster and Jotham Brown were securities for the marriage of Thomas Adams and Anna Harmon, dated August 27, 1817. (the date the license was issued). It is interesting to note the license was NOT returned. That either means the marriage did not take place OR the minister just didn't do his job and return it to the court.
