Susanna Harmon is on the list of assumed children of Peter & Margaret (Choulyn) Harmon. The following is not proof of her being a child, but I have never seen anyone suggest she wasn't. It is highly unlikely a female would be in the company of five men to witness a deed in 1798, unless she was related. Unless I obtain more information, I am calling her an assumed child of theirs. Susanna Harmon (or Herman), Security - Thomas Harmon. [An assumed son of Peter] 1796, October 5; Greene County, Tennessee Deed Abstracts 1785-1810, deed book 1, page 215 by Joyce Martin Murray. Indenture Abner Akers, Greene Co., TN, and George Harmon, both of Greene Co., TN, 6 pounds pd, 102 acres adj. Whaley Newby. Wit: Isaac Harmon, Thomas Harmon, Susanna Harmon. [All assumed children of Peter] 1804, September 1; Moses Harmon married Hannah Pratt, Jesse Carter – Security. [Moses is an alleged son of Peter] They moved from Greene Co., TN to Monroe Co., TN and then to McMinn Co., TN [per letter from Marilyn Ward Route 3 Sweetwater, TN 37874 dated 4 April 1975].
