Thanks for posting this: It can be found at the Rootsweb/Russell Co. Va,Web Site along with 99 other instances of "Indian Atrocities " perpatrated against our people along the western frontier of Va and Kentucky as it existed during the 1700-1800 era.I am sure this is just a small percentage of the mutilation of our white people dduring that time in history. Since my inquiry of Mathias Harmon, and here i will state I don't remember what I inquired about so long ago,I have determined to myself that Mathias is a relative of my GGGGGGGGrand Father Jakob Hermann [1693-1764] who emagrated his Family in 1733 on the Brigantine Richard and Elizabeth out of Rotterdam to the port of Philadelphia. The sons of Heinrich Adam Hermann were at least 2nd cousins or maybe even 1st cousins to Jakob. I can not find a common anscestor to prove this however even tho I have a positive DNA line back at least 300 years. The people I have tested to who claim a link to Adam and or Mathias are very far from my Genetic line,so? Keep looking: JCH
