I have a question for the informed Researchers of the names Hermann/Harman/Harmon. What is the name of Heinrich "Adam" Hermann's Father and Mother? Heinrich is generally referred to as "Adam" and was the Father,according to contemporary information, of "Mathias Harman" friend and partner of "Daniel Boone" He was a developer of Johnson County Ky."s "Harman Station",a Hunting Camp of most of the last half of the 18th century,prior to the Revolutionary War. Mathias was an Indian Fighter extroudinare,a member of the "Long Rifles" and Husband of Lydia Skaggs who he Parented with at least 6 children-Catherine-Mathias Jr.-Louisa-Henry-Adam-Phoebe.Has any one traced Heinrichs Family back to Germany ,say 5-6 Generations? My information points to Heinrich as one of the 7 Hermann Brothers who Migrated to the Colonies between 1700 to 1718.Any response however vague is welcome. Reply to this forum or jomar33@msn.com.
