I believe I have the oil painting you are looking for. It is an oil painting of a harley that has a slash down the middle of it from a "yankee" when they burned down a plantation. Erskine Harley is one of my great great great grandfathers. My mother's mom is Helen Harley and is a direct descendent of Robert Harley earl of oxford in England and i believe either he or is son immigrated to america. Ill have to look at my papers
