Any one who might know more about "Cappy" Tarlton Brown Harley, he was a captain in the civil war and lived most of his life around Barwell, SC. Cappy owned a large mill in Barnwell and later moved to Charlston where the city named a street in his living memory (Harley St.) in North Charleston on Rivers Ave. His nephews were James Melitus Harley and Monroe Harley. My father is James Melvin Harley of Charleston, SC born October 15, 1921 and I am Marilyn Harley Irick born 1950.
