Hi Brian, My Great Grandfather was a Thomas Harland and was born in Bridlington in 1836. His Father was Wiliam Harland born possibly about 1809, in Bridlington or nearby and his mother was a Hannah Stephenson, not sure where she was born, possible further up the coast.

I have not yet done much research on them as busy with other lines and we would need to spend time over that way to go though the parish records. There is never enough time is there. Are you doing a one name study or researching your own family.
