Oh, Ackerman.......he has the name as Joseph on Mary's page and John on John's page for the same child!

Now I had been hoping to come upon this entry again, because it has this outrageous statement by Ackerman - so I'm glad you led me to it:
"John Bogert Haring at age of 13 yrs was High Sheriff of Rockland Co., N.Y. Justice of Peace before 18 yrs of age. He afterward lived in 9th Ward, N.Y.City."
This is not the way things happened in the early 19th century! There must have been another John Bogert Haring in NYC who fit this bill.
He does not follow the Mary you are interested in, unfortunately - he only has a note about #621 John:
"#621 John J. Haring; John (518); John (415); Abraham (39); Peter (21); Jan (1). Born Sept 24, 1810. Bapt. Nov 22, 1810 at Tappan Ref Ch. Buried at Kakeath Ref. Ch. Cemetery
MARRIED: to Mary DeNoyelles. Born 1810. Died Feb 5, 1885. Age 75. Buried Kakeath Cemetery, NY."
