Hi Cheryl. I stumbled across this message you posted some time ago. I too am looking for family history on the Hargens. I would love to share what information I have with you. I've done extensive research over the past 5-10 years and have several genealogy branches of my tree. Most Hargens came from Schlesweg-Holstein or Prussia in the mid-1800's. A lot of information can be found in the LDS church. Drop me a line when you get a chance.
