Barry--of course we are passionately interested in the Hargan Clan--Michael Hargan (5 GGf of my husband-Dr. Jack L. Hargan)came from Ireland in 1769 and fought in Rev.War-eventually lived in Ft.Knox(family Grave yard there)-we have much information to share--will be gone for a month or so--please keep address and email and write--so pleased you are interested--we know another Hargan in Wisconsin named Barry-must be Uncle or cousin to you--however,-believe all Hargans related to Michael or to brothers remaining in Ireland in 1770s approx-Michael born 1752-5:Have visited many times-to the original Hargan Farm-have contact with family (Co.Donegal) and also England-you will have great fun learning about it all--probably your G(x5or 6)GF is related to one of the James Hargans(came over when he was 5 with parents and settled in Madison,I (--this is just a maybe)--this is quick-but so pleased to see your reply:
address is: Dr. Jack and Artis Hargan, 71150 Bighorn Drive, # 151-E, (Royal Carrizo), Mountain Center, California 92561-3812 and email is: or us what you know about the Hargans (also, Michael owned over 8000 acres in early 1800's in and around what is now Ft.Knox, Ky--many doctors and medical people in the Hargan family --interesting to know about the West Pointer--we also have that history too////do write and tell us about yourself and family--I will send more info when we return--busy time here--don't lose contact tho---send your direct email and address please
