I have a good deal of info on HARDYs in Barren/Hart Co Ky.I didn't know Richard died in New Orleans.
I do know that Isham Bailey was sent to LA at 10 years of age to be schooled.At 17 he returned to Missouri where family members had moved.He was a reknown ventriquilost.It was said he could throw his voice 300 yds and still be articulate and clear.He tourned over the US, MExico and Central America.In 1850's he returned to McLean Co KY and farmed.
In 1867 he moved his family to Byran TX
