Nathan had many children and only a few were mentioned- as if he thought some were well off enough not to be needing anything? And then he has a couple young boys in 1800, did he not and I am sure they are not mentioned either. I dont know what to think- not everyone is always mentioned in a will. Richard Hardy (son of John Hardy and Ann) forgot to mention one of his sons who was older- he had gone to Troup Co with his brother who WAS mentioned in the will of 1843.
SOme say Susannah McKinney Carter married him as a second wife, but I dont know since none of her boys are mentioned. So there could be a mix up of who she really married. Langston is definitely a son, but he was never mentioned in history at all except in the Edgefield deed of 1826. Let us look for a Susannah Melton in 1820 or a Melton near John Day. John Day lived in the area of John Hardy who had quite a few sons- one who married a girl from Greene Co GA- Nancy Browning.
