Trying to figure out a mess please help. Im a decendent of Solomon Hardy who died in 1825 in Bedford Virginia thru his daughter Mourning who married Henry Caldwell and moved to Simpson County Kentucky. Henry was the son of Seth Caldwell and Elizabeth Hardy. Im sure Elizabeth and Solomon are kin but not sure how. Ive heard that she was his daughter or sister. Sister sounds more likely due to the ages. I know Seth Caldwell was born 1745 so Elizabeth should be around the same time. Solomon died in 1829 so if he was born around 1750 he would have been 79 at death which sounds logical. Im thinking Elizabeth and Solomon are siblings along with George and Benjamin. Ive heard there father was a William Hardy who died in 1740 so thats impossible due to the ages. I also know there was a elder Solomon who married racheal Livers and had a daughter named Elizabeth that would fit age wise. Could be her. If anyone can help please.
