Hello Alice, the information you have on James R Hardy is correct as for my grandma Rosetta Hasty, I am the son of Ray Levone Hardy and Johnny McHenry, as for James R. father Thomas T. Hardy, I cannot confirm he was James R father, I have met a Billy Edward Hardy/Hardie ( the spelling have changed to Hardie)He is a grand son of Edward Gay Hardy/Hardie that was a brother to James R Hardy, He told me that that a James R Hardie is buried in Coryell Co., TX. and he died about 1899, Then i found a James R.Hardy in 1900 Franklin Co., TX,,so I am not sure if Thomas T is my G Grand father
I my ask Billy Edward hardie if he would have a DNA test done and I would do the same,this would tell something
