Hi Tanya - I'm researching James A. Hardy of St. Louis. He died 7 January 1885 but I haven't been able to find an obituary for him. I found a lot of info on various St. Louis court web pages including the probate of his estate. Very helpful sites. He was a widower and his son died young so he left no immediate family. His sisters and newphew were from Philadelphia, PA and I've been researching them as well. Let me know if you know anything about him, and thanks for writing. Jordan Baxter
