Looking for information on Henry Hardy, born about 1841 in South Carolina, married to Missouri (last name unknown) born about 1850 in Georgia. Henry and Misouri are located in the 1880 census of Cherokee county, Alabama. I am trying to locate the family of my Great-grandmother, Irena/Irene J. Hardy, born 11-20-1871 in Georgia, died 9-6-1934 in Rapides parish, Louisiana. She was married to Napolean G. Long, born 4-13-1870 in Polk co. Tennessee, died June 1911 in Sun, Louisiana. I have been unable to locate Irena in the census before she married Napolean. I did come across a Arsenia J. Hardy in the 1880 census of Cherokee co. Alabama as the daughter of the above listed Henry and Missouri. I know how names were mis-spelled or how nick-names were also used in the census. This Arsenia is the same age as my great-grandmother, born in the same area and lived in the same area. Also listed in this census, is a brother to Arsenia named William who I then found in the 1910 census in Washington Parish, La. and that is also where Napolean and Irena was at in 1910. I am so hoping for ANY information about this family.
