Hi, not sure if this is connected but here goes:- my 4x g grandparents were Daniel HARDY b. 1768 West Kirby and Mary DAVIES b. abt. 1770 Heswall, Cheshire. They married in 1790 in Heswall and their children were:- Mary b. 1792 Heswall Thomas b. 1794 Heswall William b. 1814 Barnstan Margaret b. ??? Elizabeth b. ??? Back in those days Wirral, Cheshire was made up of many small hamlets and villages and was all farmland. There were several places that have since changed their names such as Bunbury, Bombery, Burton, Puddington etc., though I'm almost certain that Bredbury still exists. However, I have no idea who this Margaret Hardy wed but it might be of some help to you. My own Hardy ancestors hailed from that area plus Heswall, Irby and Thurstaston. Below is a link to the Cheshire online Parish Records which is a great and free site to search. http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/ Notify Administrator about this message?
