Hardy, b 1859 in Alabama Posted by: Phillip Layne (ID *****5657) Date: January 26, 2007 at 19:19:14   of 4701 Can anyone help me find the ancestry for my John C. Hardy. He usually lists Alabama as his birthplace in the census records. According to his tombstone he was born in 1859. He married Sallie Roach in 1879 in Dade County, Georgia, but was listed in the 1880 Marion County, Tenn. census. He remained here the rest of his life. Any suggestions???????
