Once again thank you for your swift reply.I won't say to much this time as I can see you have indeed done your'homework'.I will send you an address where you can send me what you have.I am interested in everything you have on the HARDYS in Portesham.
If you can send it Airmail this would be very nice indeed.Any expenses you incur I will send to you-or you can let me know and I will send it through first.
Now, from my end I will send you what I know.Please don't be bothered by expenses from here.
Your gggg-grandfather the Rev.Alexander I have never heard of.The only Scottish link I know of is as I have mentioned before one of Thomas's daughter's the second eldest married a McGregor.The mother did not want her to marry him because the 'family' had lost everything with them being on the 'wrong side'.He got a position through his father-in law as Governor of the Virgin Islands.He died out there and wife and children returned to England.
