Harding Underground railroad station?
In "The Hardings in America" 1925, by Wilber Judd Harding, on page 144 it states that Mordecai Harding, my gggg-grandfather, was "a pronounced anti-slavery man and the Harding settlement at Blooming Grove (OH) was well known as a prominent station of the famous "Underground Railway" for the transportation of slaves from the South to Canada."Does anyone have documentation of the Harding settlement being a station, or know where I would look to find out more about this?
