I am working on my family tree for a class I am taking and hoping for some help. Any documentation would be great help! My mom always heard stories that we are related to John Wesley Hardin.
Here is the Line that I have
My mothers Name Virginia A Hardin (1959)
Her Fathers Name Homer V Hardin (1938-1987(?)) believe he died in 1987 in Palacios, TX
His parents name are Alfred Hardin and Essie Ogsta Stout. They had several children including Mary Elizabeth Hardin (02/08/1943), Floella Hardin (05/22/1934), and my grandfather Homer V Hardin 1938. They apparently divorced at some point and she remarried to Alton McGary.
I believe that Alfred Hardins father may have been a Benjamin Hardin, but I have not found a final confirmation at this time.
That is all I have at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
