Hi Judy,

Thank you so much for the info. I didn't have some of it yet. I believe the last census mentioned is a different family because my Ben & Ida only had one child, which was my mother Era Mae. It seems there was more than one Bennie Hardin in that area at one point and this one mentioned in the 1920 census was likely one of the others. It is ironic that there was another Bennie or Bannie with a wife named Ida, but the dates or children do not fit with my Ben. I beleive the other Bennie in the 1920 census was of a family of black Hardins that were also in the area. It's my best guess, anyway. I've now seen enough information along with what my mother told me when she was alive that I feel comfortable with Dock & Margaret being my Ben's parents. Now, I'm trying to move on to discovering who Dock's parents were. If you know any additional information, I'd love to know it. Thanks again!
