HARDIMAN - County Galway, Ireland
Posted by: Patrick Doyle Date: March 02, 1999 at 04:54:37

Recently found a prayer book of the type that was issued to US Army soldiers in WW2. It is inscribed: THOMAS A. HARDIMAN, 30th Infantry, Mountain View , California. For next-of-kin he gives mother's name and address: DELIA HARDIMAN, Chapel Finerty,
Ballenamore (??? - not so sure of this word on account of the handwriting), Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland. Since this book is in my family's possession and my grandmother is a Hardiman I believe that Thomas is an uncle. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
