Seeking any information on this family in Halifax West Yorkshire area. Mary Hardiman married John Jagger December 25, 1827 in Halifax, & these strongly appear to be the parents of James Jagger (b. 1843; my great-grandfather). James Jagger wound up in Illinois, & corresponded with his cousin Hannah Hardyman (b. abt. 1848) of Halifax. Hannah's parents are very probably William & Anne (Rowbottom?) Hardyman. Hannah had many sibs, so there are probably numerous Hardyman/Hardiman cousins.
