Hi Becky,
I'm also a decendant to Lt.Col. John Hardiman, & Mary Maria Eppes. They were my 7'th Great Grandparent's! Their son Francis Hardiman married Sarah Taylor. She was a dau. to John & Henrietta Maria ? Taylor. John Taylor was a distant cousin to Pres. Zachary Taylor! Francis & Sarah had a son named; John Hardiman, who married Elizabeth Stith. She was a dau. to Lt.Col. John Stith,& Elizabeth Anderson. John & Elizabeth "Stith" Hardiman had a son named; John, who married Elizabeth Baldwin. They had a son, Thomas Hardiman who married Mary "Polly" Anderson. They left Virginia, went to Oglethrope Co.,Ga., later went to Limestone Co.,Ala. Thomas died there in Ala. After he died, Polly went to live with some of her children in Giles Co.,Tenn. Thomas & Polly had a son; John Edward Hardiman. He married four times, his third wife was Mary Jane Scott. They were my Gr.Gr.Grandparent's! I have been working on my Stith's, Randolph's, Eppes, & Worsham's for about 2 year's now. Also have gathered a little info. on my Taylor line. Let me know if I can help you on some of our Hardiman ancestor's. I will be glad to share any data with you. My Email address is [email protected]
William
