My gggranmother was Mary Ann Hardesty. She married Alexander Elliott Dec 16, 1841 in Clinton Co Oh. On the record of marriage her uncle Robert Hardesty verified she was of lawful age to marry. Several Hardesty family members are buried in the cemetery at Lees Creek,Oh the cemetery is called Centerville Cemetery. My grgranmother Eliza Jane Elliott Spear (her daughter) is buried there along with her husband and children also Robert Hardesty and his wife Catherine are also buried there. I have never been able to find any info on her parents or siblings. I think she is connected in some way to the Hardestys you are researching. My gggranfather Alexander Elliott husband of Mary Ann Hardesty died 5/2/1896 and is buried in New Antioch Cemetery, Clinton Co Oh. But have no record of Mary Ann's death. Would very much like to make a connection since this has been one of my brick walls. Would appreciate any info you have to offer and glad to share what I have.
